Ibrahim Akar
My name is Ibrahim Akar. I was born in Kano, Nigeria in 1962. My parents are Ahmad Akar (El Marhoum) and Laila Akar.  I am married to Nisreen Elouta and I have three American born daughters- Laila, Dahlia and Tala Akar. I am a computer programmer by trade. My contributions to this site are in memory and honor of my father because he loved Jwaya more than anywhere else in the world. I also want to pass on some of my heritage to my daughters by keeping a record of events and pictures of our beautiful town.

Jamal Jammal
I Jamal Ali Jammal was born in Ibadan, Nigeria. My parents are (Almarhoum) Ali Yussef Jammal, and Naeimeh Mohammad Dayekh. I graduated from the U.S.A with a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and Mathematics. I am a Transportation/Bridge Engineer by trade. I am married to Wadad Hajj Kazem Dhaini. We have three American born children- Farah, Sahar and Abbas Jammal. My contributions to this site are dedicated to my family, and to the memory and honor of my late father who planted the love of Jwayya and Lebanon in me.
